Pre-Launch
ARES helps Bosch BES2 riders go farther without changing firmware or bike wiring. Plug in, add a compatible 18V battery, and ride.
Connect ARES to your bike charging port. No bike wiring changes.
Use any compatible 18V tool battery: one you already own, one purchased from us, or one from your local hardware store.
Ride longer with a fully plug-and-play setup.
ARES is built for riders who want a clean setup and a simple experience, without turning the bike into a wiring project.
It is made for real use: commuting, weekend rides, and long days where reliability and quick setup matter.
We share what is validated, what is still being tested, and what may change before production. No hype, just clear progress.
Bosch range-extender solutions are currently focused on BES3, while BES2 riders are often left with improvised setups that require modifications. ARES is designed around the native behavior of the original system, with an integration approach that avoids invasive changes.

FAQ - Do I need advanced bike wiring work? No. ARES is absolutely plug-and-play. You do not need to open or modify anything on the bike. No drilling, no frame modifications, and no electrical rewiring are required.
FAQ - What if the extra battery fails or I want another one? The supplemental battery workflow is based on standard 18V tool batteries. If one battery fails or you want a spare, replacements are easy to find from online stores, hardware shops, or directly from us.
FAQ - Can I monitor the supplemental battery in real time? Yes. ARES includes a BLE module and a phone app (Android/iOS) that shows supplemental battery SOC, voltage, and current, and can notify you about faults or other important events.
